Manuscript Submission:
editions p.s. publishes and promotes two long form books a year, along with an anthology of short fiction that presents emerging authors in the company of established writers that share our mission. Authors are paid upon agreement/contract for long form fiction. Short fiction is unpaid, yet allows the writer to have finely published work amongst the company of recognized authors. For consideration, please email us one PDF or Word Document that contains the following: For Long Form Fiction • a one page bio on the author(s), including : details on past published works (not required), including mailing address and phone number where you can be reached. • a synopsis/intentional statement of the work, not to exceed 1000 words, including context of the sample work i.e. from the beginning, chapter from the middle, vignettes not in particular order, etc. • representative sample of the work you are seeking to have published, not to exceed 12,000 words. |
We are currently accepting work for our third edition and our first anthology. All work for consideration must be complete, not in progress. All submissions will receive an electronic confirmation of receipt. Within 90 days, all submissions will receive an electronic reply as a declaration of further interest by the press or with an acknowledgement that the editors don’t find the work appropriate for our press. Short Form Fiction • the work in its entirety, not to exceed 10,000 words. |
